Introduction of Electronic Invoice Distribution service
LuxCSD1 would like to inform customers that effective
1 September 2020
the Electronic Invoice Distribution service with regard to LuxCSD’s CSD Services2 will be available for customers.
Impact on customers
Customers are advised that they may request to unsubscribe from paper invoices and subscribe to receive their invoice by email.
LuxCSD offers customers the possibility to apply for the Electronic Invoice Distribution service for all their existing LuxCSD or selected accounts only.
LuxCSD will continue to send paper-based invoices to those customers who do not wish to subscribe to the Electronic Invoice Distribution service.
The original, completed and duly signed Electronic Invoice Distribution form (see attachment) must be sent to the following address:

Duly completed forms received by Account Administration before the 15th of the month will be processed for electronic distribution for the next monthly billing run. Email invoices will be sent out from the first week of the following month.
Any amendments to the registered data (for example, change of email address) must be submitted 15 days in advance.
On 17 December 2018, LuxCSD implemented TLS (Transport Layer Security) for the encryption of email communications, ensuring the safe distribution of LuxCSD invoices as well as other email communication. Unencrypted email traffic poses a threat to LuxCSD’s business and the market. With the implementation of mandatory email encryption, Clearstream Banking aims to prevent unauthorised disclosure of information as well as any data loss.
To read LuxCSD’s emails seamlessly, customers must fulfil the necessary technical requirements. For information on the protection of email communication via TLS, please refer to Announcement L18020.
