Sustainability has become a key priority for our societies. Sustainable finance and functioning capital markets make a major contribution to mastering the transformation towards a more sustainable world. LuxCSD acts as a catalyst for new financial products and innovations including a series of sustainable finance initiatives, such as
- Contributing to the development of Luxembourg sustainable finance initiatives and EU standards through internal and external working groups. Acting as Issuer CSD for the first European Sovereign Sustainability bond, issued by the AAA Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
- Issuing equities issued through LuxCSD include renewable energy and sustainable fashion
- Supporting the Luxembourg financial market infrastructure in regards to the Capital Market Union (CMU) and Sustainable finance objectives.
