LuxCSD: Non-business days 2026
LuxCSD1 informs clients about the days LuxCSD is closed for business in 2026.
The LuxCSD settlement days are aligned with the T2 calendar. The T2 system is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and on the following holidays in 2026 (on these days, no interbank transfer is executed):
- 1 January (New Year’s Day)
- 3 April (Good Friday)
- 6 April (Easter Monday)
- 1 May (Labour Day) Free of Payment instructions only
- 25 December (Christmas Day)
These closing days apply to all securities held with LuxCSD.
For Icelandic securities held with LuxCSD, the following days are additional non-business days in 2026:
- 1 January (New Year’s Day)
- 2 April (Maundy Thursday)
- 3 April (Good Friday)
- 6 April (Easter Monday)
- 23 April (First Day of Summer)
- 1 May (May Day)
- 14 May (Ascension Day)
- 25 May (Whit Monday)
- 17 June (Icelandic National Day)
- 3 August (Commerce Day)
- 24 December (Christmas Eve)
- 25 December (Christmas Day)
- 31 December (New Year's Eve)
