France: Handling of French Registered Securities
LuxCSD1 informs customers that additional Occasionally Registered Securities “Valeurs Occasionnellement Nominatives” (VON) ISIN codes subject to the LBS2 programme will become eligible in LuxCSD on
18 February 2019
Due to the specific handling of French Registered Securities on the French market, LuxCSD will adapt its service accordingly for VON, with no access to the LBS programme.
As a consequence, LuxCSD customers will continue to exclusively have access to VON in bearer form.
Asset servicing impacts on VON securities subject to the LBS programme will be as follows:
Customers will be notified via MT564 EXOF VOLU or Xact Web Portal Corporate Action Notification, Exchange Offer, Voluntary (for information only) with option NOSE (No service offered) as no MT565 instructions will be accepted. The MT564 notifications will always be sent to the customer account holding the bearer position.
