Belgium: NBB-SSS T2S adaptation - launch date postponed
Further to our announcements L14068 dated 6 June 2014 and L14120 dated 12 November 2014, we hereby inform customers that the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) has postponed the launch date for the new platform Ramses to
2 February 2015
The decision was taken by the NBB together with its solution provider based on the following considerations:
- Product readiness: the functionalities of the Ramses application will not be changed but the infrastructure needs further architectural improvement and testing regarding stability, performance and volume capacity.
- Client readiness: the majority of the NBB-SSS participants are still improving their test results and building experience, even if for most participants certification for Ramses has been obtained.
- The new date avoids interference with market participants’ activities during the traditionally busy calendar year-end.

Impact on customers
The changes detailed in the announcements L14068 and L14120 with effective date 17 November 2014 will remain in place for those customers that have already adapted their systems. Clearstream Banking1 will however change its systems to accept the previous party formats from 1 December 2014.
Changes that were detailed in the announcements with an effective date 1 December 2014 will only become effective from 2 February 2015.
