Information on Electronic Invoice Distribution service and Electronic Dunning Letter Distribution

01.04.2021

LuxCSD1 would like to inform customers, with regard to the Electronic Invoice Distribution service and introduction of Electronic Dunning Letter Distribution, that effective

1 July 2021

there will be a change in distribution of the original invoices and dunning letters.

Impact on customers

From the effective date, original invoices will be sent to customers, by default, as a PDF attachment through email and not as a hard copy via post. Additionally, as of that date, all dunning letters will be sent as PDF attachments via email. A paper invoice fee EUR 5 will be introduced for all customer accounts that would like to continue receiving invoices in paper form.

In order for invoices and dunning letters to be received via email as PDF attachments, customers should provide their invoice recipient email address by signing the form for subscription to Electronic Invoice Distribution. The deadline for submitting the form is 31 May 2021.

The original, completed and duly signed Electronic Invoice Distribution form must be sent to the following address:

LuxCSD S.A.
Attn.: Account Administration Luxembourg (OBC)
L-2967 Luxembourg

Duly completed forms received by Account Administration before the 15th of the month will be processed for electronic distribution for the next monthly billing run. Email invoices will be sent out from the first week of the following month.

Any amendments to the registered data (for example, change of email address) must be submitted 15 days in advance.

On 17 December 2018, LuxCSD implemented TLS (Transport Layer Security) for the encryption of email communications, ensuring the safe distribution of LuxCSD invoices as well as other email communication. Unencrypted email traffic poses a threat to LuxCSD’s business and the market. With the implementation of mandatory email encryption, LuxCSD aims to prevent unauthorised disclosure of information as well as any data loss.

To read LuxCSD’s emails seamlessly, customers must fulfil the necessary technical requirements. For information on the protection of email communication via TLS, customers should refer to Announcement L18020.
