02.02.2016

Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers that, effective

immediately

the standard format for book-entry transactions must be applied for all counterparties in the Depository Trust Company (DTC).

This follows changes to Clearstream Banking’s depository in the U.S., Citibank N.A., at the request of Clearstream Banking, to further standardise book-entry transaction instructions.

Impact on customers

Customers are requested to use the standard format for book-entry transactions for all counterparties in the DTC, including for transactions with a participant number starting 4xxx (for which a specific format formerly applied.)
