Xact File Transfer: TLS 1.0 to be disabled

23.05.2018

Effective

17 November 2018

Clearstream Banking1 will disable TLS 1.0 on the Xact File Transfer server.

TLS 1.0 protocol is no longer considered secure and will therefore be disabled on the Xact File Transfer server.

There is no impact expected for customers using a standard configuration as recent file transfer clients already support TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 and the new protocols will automatically be used if enabled in the client software.

All customers are encouraged to test their client software in the Customer Testing Environment in order not to risk service interruption.
