Xact Web Portal: WebCrypto migration

the new WebCrypto login module will be available for LuxCSD Xact Web Portal customers. This new module is offered in parallel to the existing Java Applet based login. The WebCrypto login module offers the same level of security as the Java Applet, and does not require additional software to be installed on the customer’s PC.
Note: Customers also using VestimaPRIME must not migrate to the WebCrypto login, nor must customers using SmartCard authentification.
The following browsers support WebCrypto:
- Internet Explorer 11
- Firefox ESR 52
- Google Chrome
To start using the WebCrypto login, you must migrate your current Xact Web Portal Java Applet user certificates to WebCrypto certificates as described the attached migration guide.
As the new login process is considerably faster and easier to use Clearstream Banking recommends that all customers plan and execute the migration of their Xact Web Portal user certificates at the earliest opportunity.
