Xact File Transfer: Server side certificate renewal
On
Sunday 22 July 2018
Clearstream Banking1 will renew its server side certificate for HTTPS/FTPS for Xact File Transfer.
This certificate will be signed by COMODO CA.
Impact on customers
Customers using the standard configuration
No impact is expected as COMODO CA is already part of most software and vendors trust store.
However, it is recommended to use up-to-date software for maximum compatibility.
Customers enforcing strict checks
Please check that you have COMODO CA in your trust store.
If not, a new certificate authority (CA) chain must be imported - Intermediate Certificates COMODO.crt (right-click to download).
Customers using the SFTP protocol are recommended to test the behaviour of their client software in the Customer Testing Environment.
Testing for customers using SSH/SFTP is optional as it will not be impacted by the change.
