U.S.A.: FATCA : Signature of IGA with France postponed
The signature of a FATCA Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the governments of France and United States was scheduled for 11 October 2013.
However, it has been postponed to a later date, possibly owing to the shutdown of the U.S. government.
The model of the agreement to be signed and the future date of signature have not been disclosed.
We continue to monitor the implementation of FATCA and will provide more information as it becomes available.
