U.S.A. - Germany: signature authorisation

On 29 May 2013, the German Federal Cabinet authorised the signature of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the U.S.A. in order to implement the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).

US.A. - Trinidad and Tobago: negotiations

Trinidad and Tobago has expressed its interest in negotiating an IGA with the U.S.A. to improve international tax compliance with respect to FATCA.

U.S.A. - Slovenia: negotiations

The Slovenian Ministry of Finance has begun preparations to negotiate and sign an IGA with the U.S.A. to improve international tax compliance with respect to FATCA. The recently published amended Model on Intergovernmental Agreement with Annexes I and II as published on the IRS website will serve as a basis document.
