U.S.A.: FATCA: IRS publishes new FAQs for Forms W-8 and W-9
On 11 December 2014, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) published further updated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about FATCA on their website.
The updated FAQs, that can be viewed under FATCA - FAQ General, now include updates for Forms W-8 and W9.
We continue to monitor the implementation of FATCA and will provide more information as it becomes available.
