Italy: Annual renewal of certificate of residence – request for extension of deadline
beneficial owners eligible to obtain tax relief on dividends from Italian equities will expire on 31 March 2020. This is further to C20002 of 17 January 2020.
Our local partner Intesa Sanpaolo, together with the major Italian withholding agents, has been leading an official request through AIBE (Italian Foreign banks association) to the Italian tax authorities.
