Argentina: potential tax reform including Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
The Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP), the Argentine Tax Authority, has announced its intention to propose a tax reform to the Congress.
This reform would include a tax on both dividend distributions and buy/sell transactions in securities with no public offering on the on-exchange market.
Further details of this tax reform proposal have not yet been released.
