U.S.A.: FATCA: Statement of Mutual Cooporation and Understanding with Japan
Further to our Announcement A12122, dated 27 June 2012, concerning the U.S. Treasury Department issuing a statement, with Japan, on the implementation of FATCA, the Statement of Mutual Cooperation and Understanding between the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Authorities of Japan to Improve International Tax Compliance and to Facilitate Implementation of FATCA has now been published.
We will continue to monitor the implementation of FATCA and will provide more information as it becomes available
