France: Upload List of Beneficial Owners - reminder
Clearstream Banking1 would like to remind customers who hold securities in both BNP Paribas Securities Services and CBF to use the correct template to upload their List of Beneficial Owners (BO). The French Equities Breakdown template is available in the BO Upload application.
Customers are also reminded that any BO list containing mistakes will be rejected by Clearstream Banking.
In order to avoid rejection, please follow the guidelines below:
- Do not calculate the total sum of any fields that display an amount in the Excel sheet (for example, the total amount of tax owed or the total amount of holdings);
- Only use the provided template. Do not delete the header row (light grey). Start completing the List of BOs from the second row with no blank lines;
- Do not populate column C, D and G (dark grey). These columns are completed exclusively by Clearstream Banking or its depository;
- Insert a TIN strictly in the same format as the one provided in Form 5000, including the initial zero, spaces and any special characters such as – or /.
