Denmark: Termination of simplified quick reclaims
Further to our Taxflash LT15041, dated 26 August 2015, Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers that, effective
immediately
Clearstream Banking will no longer accept any requests for quick reclaims for the Danish market, and will only accept reclaims following its standard reclaim procedure.
This announcement follows confirmation from the Danish Tax Authority (SKAT) that it has terminated the simplified quick refund procedure, effective close of business 25 September 2015, due to recent cases of fraud in regards to tax reclaims.
Impact on customers
Only quick reclaims already submitted to SKAT prior to 25 September 2015 will be processed.
Clearstream Banking will now only accept reclaims following its standard reclaims procedure.
