Spain: CNMV lifts temporary ban on short selling
Further to our Marketflash LM12008, dated 23 October 2012, the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) has lifted the ban on short-selling transactions in Spanish securities.
The temporary ban was adopted in November 2012 and expired on 31 January 2013.
