IBAN required for some European markets and update of Clearstream’s cash accounts

following the SEPA Regulation implementation in some European markets, Clearstream’s cash correspondent bank (CCB) accounts will be using the IBAN format.
Background
The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Regulation will be implemented and the IBAN format number will become mandatory for some European markets and in some cases this will be extended to cross-border / institutional payments. Further information can be found on the European Payments Council website.
Impact on customers
For payments to Clearstream Banking CCBs where the use of the Clearstream Banking IBAN will be applicable, please refer to the information below with the IBAN to use accordingly.
Customers and their counterparties should use the IBAN format in their payment orders in favour of CBL cash accounts as applicable with the following CCBs (in addition to the ones already applicable as published in the Cash Timing Matrix). Failure to use IBAN accounts in payment instructions may result in payments being delayed or rejected at CCB level.
