Clearstream's CSD in Germany opens link to LuxCSD
As of Monday 22 June 2015, Clearstream's Central Securities Depository in Germany will operate a new direct link to the Clearstream CSD in Luxembourg, LuxCSD.
As a result of the link, LuxCSD account holders will be able to settle LuxCSD issued securities directly against counterparties in the German Domestic market. This new development will also support the listing of LuxCSD issued securities on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The new link will be used for settling selected debt securities and equities eligible in LuxCSD. In the future, selected investment funds will also be accepted for settlement via this new link.
