T2S migration test completed with positive results
A Migration Weekend Dress Rehearsal (MWDR) involving Clearstream’s CSDs in Germany and Luxembourg was conducted between 30 September and 2 October 2016. This test was conducted with the Eurosystem, SWIFT and all wave 4 CSDs and NCBs.
The migration test was completed successfully within expected timeframes. As in previous Migration Weekend Dress Rehearsals, LuxCSD's systems and operational processes performed in a reliable and safe manner, with all tasks completed within the time allotted for the migration exercise. The complete success of this test proves that LuxCSD is technically and operationally prepared for migration to the T2S platform, which is scheduled to take place in February 2017.
The final migration testing will be executed together with the local community in mid-December 2016 in production-like environments of the Eurosystem and at LuxCSD. LuxCSD will perform the preparatory pre-migration phase based on most recent data to the maximum extent possible to ensure the best possible preparation of its community.
The target for the December test will be to confirm this successful performance of the migration exercise with market participation.
