Clearstream Banking AG1 will be renamed to Clearstream Europe AG.

FAQ
Will contracts and documents change?
Existing contractual agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), power of attorneys (PoAs) and other contractual documentation remain legally valid and will not need to be repapered. Future contracts and documents will bear the new legal entity name “Clearstream Europe AG” once it comes into force.
Public documents (for example, Fee Schedule, Client Handbooks and Connectivity manuals) will be updated with the new legal entity name. Similarly, systems bearing the legal entity name will undergo updates.
Will the BIC change?
No, the BIC will not change.
Will the LEI change?
No, the LEI will not change.
Does anything change in Clearstream operationally?
The new legal entity name will be reflected in the GUIs and reports following the naming convention detailed below. It does not trigger any change in our processes.
Will the name change trigger any action on my side as a Clearstream client?
From a legal and commercial standpoint, should you refer to Clearstream Banking AG in the future in internal, bilateral or third-party documentation, please refer to Clearstream Europe AG from 26 September 2025.
From an operational standpoint, we foresee potential impact on your side if you have any automation, macros or other algorithms that read the Clearstream name. Should you have such instances, please programme them to read the new name following the naming convention below.
Will CBF-i accounts be called CEU-i after the name change?
From 26 September 2025, the alternative 6-series account naming convention shall be used.
