Shareholder Communication Enhancement SCE): Customer testing approach for ISO 20022 rollout for General Meetings - Update
Note: This announcement originally published on 7 September 2021 and updated on 21 September 2021, has been further updated to provide customers with updates to the attached "Test Guide and Test Case Description" and "Customer Testing Registration Form".
Therefore, Clearstream Banking will offer customer tests during a dedicated test window from 25 October to 12 November 2021, the timeline will be divided into three weeks.
Customers willing to participate in the testing must register. The Test Registration Form, as well as practical information on testing including detailed Test Case Description, are available in the attachments below. The registration should be completed by 6 October 2021.
Customers subscribed to the Clearstream Enhanced Proxy Voting service with Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) in production and not planning to switch to the Clearstream Legacy GM Services are not required to participate in the connectivity and functional testing of the new Clearstream legacy message flow as the message exchange will stay with ISS.
Customers using a full outsourcing provider are requested to clarify with their provider if they want to participate in the testing for an account with their institution or not.
Customer Testing Approach
The aim of this customer testing of ISO 20022 rollout for GM is to ensure connectivity and a functional GM message exchange in ISO 20022 format between Clearstream Banking and LuxCSD customers and to test the new Meeting Event Subdomain in the Xact Web Portal, including download and upload functionality.
This customer testing will not provide detailed and production content within the test case messages. There is also no end-to-end test with depositories. Clearstream Banking will simulate the end-to-market messages flow with their domestic depositories separately.

In scope of the customer testing for the ISO 20022 rollout for General Meetings are the following messages via the connectivity channel SWIFTNet FINPlus:
