Xact Web Portal: Enhancements to FTT services

Clearstream Banking1 will introduce additional functionality for the FTT (Financial Transaction Tax) service in Xact Web Portal.
Impact on customers
The enhancement will allow customers to upload FTT files directly via Xact Web Portal. A list of up to 20,000 instructions can be uploaded. Please refer to the attached pdf and xls files for further format information.
The feedback will be generated either confirming acceptance of the complete file or showing the error message as a banner. If there is an error, the complete file is rejected and must be re-uploaded in its entirety.
A further validation feedback and the status of the Declaration file can be viewed by using the FTT query and then downloading the Validation Status file.
The FTT service will be available to all customers that have access to the Tax Service in Xact Web Portal with accounts in Clearstream Banking S.A., Clearstream Banking AG or LuxCSD.
Access to the FTT upload service can be granted by the OU Administrator to users that already have the Tax service.
Further enhancements to Xact Web Portal are planned in late 2018 and throughout 2019. These will be announced in due course.
